Meet Dan Redding

Dan Redding is a native North Carolinian, raised in the foothills of Caldwell County, where he was shaped by an excellent public education, active involvement in sports, and a strong church community. He graduated from Wingate University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and has spent more than 15 years working in software sales, with experience ranging from multi-billion-dollar enterprises to fast-growing startups.

Dan moved to Cabarrus County in 2009 and now lives in Harrisburg with his wife, Carly, and their two children, Dylan and Mae. Coming from a family deeply rooted in public service, Dan believes now is the right time to step forward and serve the community he calls home.

Since 2024, Dan has been an active volunteer with the Cabarrus County Democratic Party, taking on leadership roles including Vice Chair of Precinct 01-04, contributing to the Messaging Task Force, and leading candidate outreach efforts across the Piedmont region.
